20 million university graduates is the most valuable asset of the society / Iran's chemistry rank is one of the best in the world

In online communication with the 5th Iranian Conference on Applied Chemistry, hosted by Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan, Professor Zolfigol, Minister of Sciences, Research and Technology, stated that Iran’s rank is among the best in the world in several sciences, including chemistry. He considered the existence of more than 20 million university graduates as the most valuable capital of the country.

Professor Zolfigol said: “Tabriz as a city of “the first ones” have always been excellent in promoting science and knowledge, and Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan, as one of the leading universities, has taken effective measures in this regard, and especially has had a very good cooperation with the Iranian Chemistry Association, which deserves its thanks and appreciation.”

The Minister of Science, Research and Technology continued: “such a good rank is due to the love, interest, will and jihadist efforts of Iranian scientists, whose efforts we should be grateful.” Professor Zolfigol stated: “My social capital in this period of management in the Ministry of Science is scientists and graduates, and I will use all of their opinions and suggestions as a strong support. I have detailed plans for the scientific development of the country.” Emphasizing the importance of scientific diplomacy, he stated: "In this period of management of the Ministry of Education, I will have special support for scientific diplomacy and I will work to achieve scientific authority so that a special line can be considered in next year's budget."

The Minister of Science, Research and Technology considered it very important to support quality and reputable scientific journals and said: "If we support scientists and scientific associations and support international indexes, we will see their excellent growth and development.” He also continued: "We will grant special privileges to those who work in scientific diplomacy and the regulations for the promotion and promotion of faculty members will be reviewed. We will create a system of evaluation and motivation as well as a system of suggestions.”
