The first international conference of cryptocurrencies blockchain and the global economy

The first international conference on cryptocurrencies blockchain and the global economy was held online on 14th Mordad, 1400, with the participation of managers and experts in the field of cryptocurrencies blockchain by the National Commission for UNESCO-Iran and the UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club.

Peyman Sarhadi, President of the UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club and President of the Conference, explained the actions of the UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club in the field of blockchain and introduced the UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club as an international collection in the field of science, innovation and technology under the UNESCO National Commission. He stated that the reason for holding this international conference was to create an atmosphere for the exchange of information and opinions of members of the scientific community and to study the reactions of the society to the issue of blockchain technology and to create social changes. Sarhadi added: "Over the past years, cryptocurrencies and blockchain have become superficial due to the economic environment and the events of cyberspace. That is why professors and universities have not entered this technology. This issue has caused people not to have proper awareness of this emerging technology and enter the financial markets in this area without awareness."

The President of the UNESCO Innovation and Technology Club said that one of the important reasons for holding this conference in the National Commission for UNESCO is to create a platform for interaction between elites and developers in the blockchain area and also to create commercialization infrastructure. Because technology is not waiting for us and its growth rate is faster than our big decisions. Therefore, we must try to help the growth and development of emerging technologies by creating a suitable environment.

It is worth mentioning that in this international conference, out of 130 papers submitted, a total of 32 papers were accepted by the jury for publication in the collection of articles and indexing in the Knowledge Reference (Civilica), and also 5 papers were presented by researchers.
