Design of the first satellite and aerial monitoring system of the farm called Jovitiar
Kermanshah Science and Technology Park succeeded in designing and constructing the first satellite and air monitoring system of the farm called Jovtiar. According to Sabah Motamedi, the chief director of the S&T Park of Kermanshah, this system could be very effective in solving the problems of agriculture. Utilizing satellite imagery from the European Space Agency, Jovitar is accessible to organizations and farmers. Monitoring the growth and health of agricultural products, it will reveal the problems of agricultural lands. In addition to satellite monitoring, satellite meteorological services are also provided to farmers in this system. The report of rainfall, wind speed, air humidity will be also reported to the farmer and the weather forecast for the next few days is also produced. This method saves a lot of time as such that one hectare of agricultural land is sprayed in just seven to eight minutes. In this access, farmers and agro-industrial companies will be able to monitor their agricultural lands from corner to corner.
