Sympathy Letters of International Universities to President of the University of Isfahan
Professor Houshang Talebi, President of the University of Isfahan, sent his letters to major international universities on imposed sanctions as well as fighting Covid-19. In his letter he pointed to the deadly outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic on Iranian and other societies. He also highlighted the destructive impacts of the unfair sanctions on the people’s life. In the end, Professor Talebi hoped to expand academic, scientific cooperation among all universities worldwide further in the middle of the current Pandemic.
Professor Talebi’s letter was responded positively by several universities. President of the Freiburg University expressed his readiness for cooperation with the Iranian scientific and academic society in the middle of the Covid-19 Pandemic. President of Xiamen University also expressed his support for further cooperation with the University of Isfahan and other Iranian universities. Furthermore, Université Paris 13, Woosoong University, Marburg University, Istanbul Technical University, and Aydin University expressed their sympathy with the Iranian academic and scientific society.
