Iran and Belarus Discuss Expansion of Scientific Cooperation

Prof. Salar Amoli, the Acting Minister for International Scientific Cooperation, meets with Mr Saeid Yari, Iran’s new ambassador to Belarus, at the MSRT, where representatives of MSRT and Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present.

 In this meeting, potentials and capacities for various fields of cooperation between Iran and Belarus were discussed.

Moreover, the current update of holding the 6th Joint Iran-Belarus Commission of Cooperation in the Fields of Higher Education, Science and Technology and facilitation of holding the 7th Commission, in September 2020, was discussed.

Prof. Salar Amoli also emphasized on further ‘strengthening the existing and future Chairs of Persian language and literature’, ‘holding high rectors conference’, ‘further cooperation of Iranian and Belarus ST Parks’ and ‘deployment of Iranian and Belarusian knowledge-based companies at their counterpart country’, ‘holding of joint venture research projects’ and ‘establishment of joint department or university’ between the two countries.
