Second General Assembly of COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities
The Second General Assembly of the COMSTECH Inter-Islamic Network on Virtual Universities (CINVU) was held at Payame Noor University, where Prof. Salar Amoli, the Acting Minister for International Scientifics Cooperation and representatives of 16 universities of Muslim countries were present.
Highlighting Iran’s higher education and internationalization capabilities, Prof. Salar Amoli reoffered to networking as the main platform for internationalization of higher education. He added that cooperation with Muslim countries is Iran’s top priority, and announced readiness of Iranian virtual universities for bi- and multi-lateral cooperation with universities of CINVU.
Moreover, Dr. Najafi, the deputy for international cooperation of Payame Noor University, was presented with a certificate of appreciation for his significant contribution towards development of CINVU.
In this General Assembly, Prof. Qasim Jan, the Advisor of the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation, also expressed COMSTECH’s appreciation to Iranian support for development of virtual studies in the Muslim world.
It is worth noting that the CINVU is currently undertaking virtual learning for Islamic world candidates.
