Iran’s Museum of Science and Technology is the Host to the 48th Session of CIMUSET
The director and representatives of Iran’s Museum of Science and Technology attended the 47th session of the International Committee for Museums and Collections of Science and Technology (CIMUSET), on 7-10 September, in Tokyo. Following this, Iran’s Museum of Science and Technology has been selected as the host for the 48th CIMUSET session.
In this session, Dr Jalili, the director of Iran’s Museum of Science and Technology elaborated on the capacities and future science and technology plans of the museum, followed by exchange of experiences and expertise of several ST museums across the world, on ‘Traditions for a Sustainable Future’. He elaborated on the world’s existing challenges such as the climate change, environmental pollution, water crisis, population growth, lack of public awareness, and the affective role of dialogue between nations and the science and technology museums as bridges for such dialogue.
