ISESCO Announces Launching of Two Grants for Scientific Research Projects for 2018

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) announces the launching of two grants of  US$10,000.00 for the period of two years, to Iranian citizens, for scientific research projects for 2018 in the following fields: ICTs, nanotechnology, agricultural biotechnology, engineering sciences, applied sciences and medical plants.

These grants, are offered by ISESCO Center for Promotion of Scientific Research (ICPSR), and are aimed at awarding scientific research projects; reducing the migration of scientific competencies in Member States; boosting the engagement of youth competent researchers in scientific research activities worthy of sponsorship and attention; improving the quality and effectiveness of scientific research; and achieving a better synergy with the industry sector to enable it to be competitive internationally.

The nominees for the grant are required to be less than 40 years old, hold a PhD in one of the fields covered by the five grants, and belong to a public university or a government research institution.
