52,000 International Students Are Studying at Iranian Universities

In line with the USERN event on Modern Technologies in Science at Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, Prof. Salar Amoli, the Acting Minister for International Scientific Cooperation of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) stated that internationalization of universities is one of the main policies of the MSRT.

Prof. Salar Amoli added that currently more than 100 countries sponsor their students to study at Iranian universities, where the total of 52,000 international students are undertaking their higher education at Iranian universities. This in turn increases the social, cultural, scientific, and technological state of Iranian universities, as new students from different cultures bring new ideas and innovations.

Referring to the Amol University of Special Modern Technologies, as a newly established and young university, that holds good potentials with capable students and human resources, the MSRT’s Acting Minister expressed his optimism for this university’s performance in international levels.
